
Curtiss Wright (CWC) was founded in 1929 – by the Wright brothers – pioneers of early flight, and Glen Curtiss.
In 1929 Curtiss Wright founded the China National Aviation Corporation based in Shanghai in partnership with the Chinese Government. CNAC played a significant role in the history of modern China. In 1968 MIC joined CWC, now operating over 60 facilities in USA, Canada, Europe and Asia.
